Sidrah Khan, FNP-C is a board-certified family nurse practitioner by AANP. She graduated from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. She obtained her BSN from Thomas Edison and Bachelor’s of Science in Bio-medical Sciences from California University, Sacramento. She completed her nurse practitioner training at multi-diverse clinic settings including at a Federally qualified community health center in California where she was trained in adult and adolescent medicine and mental health; Family Medicine/Primary care clinic in Washington D.C; Inova Pediatric Clinic and Valley Health Memorial hospital Family medicine clinic in Virginia. Prior, to that she has worked at George Washington University Hospital ICU as a CCRN and an outpatient Family Medicine RN for several years. She has been in healthcare for 8 years and worked as a medical assistant/scribe in internal medicine, women’s health, and HIV/infectious disease community center in California. She also has experience working at a Weightloss-bariatric surgery center and orthopedic department.
Ms. Khan was inspired to enter the medical field because she wanted to ease the suffering of patients and identify the causes of their symptoms. She believes in building a long-term trusting relationship with her patients and emphasizing healthy living. She can diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, order diagnostics and labs, prescribe medications, and manage a patient’s overall care independently. Today, she says one of her favorite parts of being a medical provider is her one-on-one interaction with those under her care. Her goal is to navigate good health, promote healthy living, prevent disease by identifying risk factors; coordinating and managing chronic disease care for longevity and a better quality of life.
Outside of work Ms. Khan enjoys fitness, hiking, traveling, painting/creative projects, and exploring new foods.
