How to Connect for your Doxy.me TeleVisit
Thank you for using CPC’s Telemedicine. We use Doxy.me as our video platform. To prepare for this Telemed, we ask all patients if able to take blood pressure, temperature and/or weight before the televisit. A medical assistant will be calling you prior to the appointment time to go over your vitals and medications. They will then send you a link by email or text message to establish a connection using a computer/SmartPhone and/or a Tablet (Android or Apple). You DO NOT NEED TO download an App to connect.
To establish a connection using Doxy.me, just click on the link via email or text message. It will then ask you to check in below to let the provider know you are here. In the space provided you will type in your name then press check in. You will then be asked to give access to camera and microphone. Press “Give access to camera and mic”. Press ALLOW. It will then direct you to the waiting room where you will wait until the provider connects with you.
In the event you plan to change this appointment please contact our office immediately so that we can make the necessary changes into our system and send you an updated link for your Telemed appointment. Our no show policy on telemed are the same as in person appointments.
Once again we want to thank you for using CPC’s Telemedicine and look forward to serving you with excellent care in these trying times.
